After struggling as long as she could, Baby B passed away in mid-November.  Yesterday afternoon, I had to do the unthinkable: attend a memorial service for a 6-week old.  The parlor was overflowing with friends and family, which will hopefully be a small comfort for my friends who lost one of their little girls far too early.  The one thing they did that I thought was a great idea was to christen Baby A at the house afterward.    It was nice to have at least a small bright spot on the day.

My heart pours out to your friend, her family and friends, and the loss of B. The whole of the event is soul wrenching. No parent should ever have to bury her child.

I am so sorry to hear of your friends loss. What a hard and joyful time all at once. It is a lot to handle.
