I see your measly mile of stockinette and raise you 1.6 km of moss stitch. It just keeps going and going and going… Although you can't see, I'm into the armhole shaping on the back of Mimi (Minimalist Cardigan, for those of you who actually refer to their projects by the actual pattern). It was cast on as my vegetative meeting/help-desk-sitting-for-ten-hours knitting late last week and is plugging along quickly (for me). Unfortunately, it has taken the place of my Oval of Friends blanket as my brain-dead, tv-watching project, but I have to ride the wave while it's rolling. We all know I'll wander away from this project sooner rather
than later when something shiny comes along (shush, Maeve).
Speaking of (not) finishing objects, SpindleRose is going to join me for "Finish a #*!@# Project" month, which kicks off in a week. However, we decided that there are no rules against starting a new project in the next seven days, that will then get folded into the month o' finishing. Good thing, too, because now that clumsily turned the heel on my 2nd Anya sock, I'm going to need to get another pair of socks on the needles for my commuter project.
For those of you keeping track, 99 days until I board a plane for Australia. W'HOO!!! Double digits, baby!!!
